Volunteer at Caring Network

Clean, assemble, fix, ship, drive – we need all sorts of help

It takes a lot to make a ministry! From keeping women’s centers clean to mailing and collating, Caring Network keeps costs low by trusting volunteers with many of our operational tasks. Your help means more money goes to ministry – and it lets us make new friends along the way.

Here’s how to help.

I can volunteer for Caring Network!

    Office support

Our Communications team often needs help with mailing prep, with transportation of donations and with other office tasks. No skill set is required – if you can spare a few hours when we need you, we would love to hear from you! Reach out using the form above.

    Event assistance

Events like the annual banquet or spring fundraiser keep Caring Network’s ministry alive and vibrant – but it takes a lot of hands to make them happen! Volunteers help with setup, greet guests or handle check-in. It’s a fun way to connect around a crucial cause. Submit the form above to get involved.

    Handyperson help

Things always need assembling, changing and fixing. Are you good at that kind of thing? Do you have weekday availability? If so, we would love to have you “on call” as a handyperson volunteer.

    Physician

Do you have a heart for serving women facing unplanned pregnancies? Working under the direction and supervision of our Medical Director, we are seeking a volunteer physician to evaluate limited OB ultrasounds for our pregnancy medical clinics. It is an opportunity to use your clinical expertise as well as gain the reward of helping women during a critical time. This is a remote position requiring a few hours a week. If this interests you, reach out to learn more.

    Nurse

Are you interested in serving women and helping our medical team as a nurse volunteer? Nurse volunteers support our staff in many ways to facilitate a warm, caring environment. A current Illinois RN license is required with a preferred time commitment of no less than 4 hours per week. If you have a heart for women facing unplanned pregnancies, reach out to learn more about the volunteer nurse position.

    Transportation

Do you have reliable transportation and some flexibility in your schedule? We often need items picked up or transported from one location to another throughout the suburbs. This is especially a need in March with the servicing of our centers’ fire extinguishers. If you’d like to be available to fill this need, reach out for further info!

Tell us your skillset with the form above. We would love to hear from you!
