The historic “Big Beautiful Bill” was signed by our President on July 4th. It puts into effect a one-year pause on federal funding to any healthcare nonprofit
that offers abortions.
Although Planned Parenthood wasn’t called out in the bill — it’s the only healthcare nonprofit that offers abortions. The one-year funding pause is set
to start on September 1.
As a result, 41of 600 Planned Parenthood are closed or being closed. And PP is estimating that 200 facilities are at risk of closing across the country. Earlier this year, four Planned Parenthoods in Illinois had already closed 4 facilities due to “financial shortfall.” You can make this trend continue in
the months ahead…
You can help more women considering an abortion come to Caring Network FIRST to choose life!
Destiny (not her real name) arrived at one of our clinics nervous about her unplanned pregnancy.
Destiny and her boyfriend were facing financial burdens and uncertainty about their careers. They agreed it would be best to have an abortion. Destiny felt sorrow
about the decision. But was resigned to move forward.
You can help care for more abortion-minded women like Destiny.
At her Caring Network appointment, Destiny’s pregnancy consultant helped unpack her concern sand anxieties. Then she encouraged Destiny to consider a parenting or adoption plan.
Destiny had never considered other options before. After receiving her ultrasound and hearing her baby’s heartbeat for the first time. Destiny knew for certain: she
wanted to choose life!
However, Destiny was worried about her boyfriend and how he would receive the news. So her consultant equipped her for a healthy, transparent conversation with him.
A week later, Destiny reached out to her consultant. She spoke to her boyfriend. He was surprised — but also happy about her decision to choose life. Praise God for changing the couple’s hearts and minds!
Let love be the first word.
When a woman is facing a pregnancy that’s unplanned, she’s likely confronted with overwhelming fear. She may worry whether the father stay by her side…or if
she’ll face the judgement of family.
Oftentimes, she feels alone.
When an abortion clinic steers her toward ending her pregnancy, it can feel like the simplest way to end her crisis. She’ll be pressured to act right away. She may not even see an ultrasound.
But at Caring Network, every woman who arrives receive a free ultrasound and a full explanation of her options. She’ll receive compassionate care that affirms she’s not alone on her journey to choosing life.
She’ll receive confidential counsel that helps her navigate her ups and downs — and support to have hard, healthy conversations with the people who
matter to her the most.
This is how love overcomes fear. It’s how worry is no longer the driving voice in her decision. It’s how hope begins to speak louder than despair.
Give her a reason to hope!
This is a critical moment in our nation’s history. A one-year pause of federal funding to Planned Parenthood is set to start on September 1.
With locations at-risk of closing across our region due to “financial shortfall.”
You can help fill the gap in care in the months ahead…
With your help, we can be the first to reach abortion-minded women facing an unexpected pregnancy. The stats tell us that less than 10% of women who go to an abortion facility first will choose life. But over 65% of women who come to Caring Network first will choose life.
To reach an abortion-minded woman with compassionate care that helps her choose life, it costs just $30.
Your gift of $30 will reach one abortion-minded woman. Your gift of $60 will reach two abortion-minded women. And your generous gift of $90 will reach three abortion-minded women with life-affirming care.
When love leads—fear recedes—and hope can grow. Together, we’re building a culture where every life is celebrated, and every woman and unborn baby is cherished.
