Life – in all its fullness

About Caring Network

Glorifying Jesus Christ, we seek to eliminate the suffering from and desire for abortion in the State of Illinois. This is Caring Network’s vision statement. We are here to care for women facing unexpected pregnancies, to restore those who’ve already been hurt by abortion – and to mobilize God’s people for the work of life.

For us, that work began in 1981 with a volunteer-staffed call center housed in a mechanic’s garage. Women in crisis called – and Caring Network answered. Over the past four decades, we’ve expanded services to include seven women’s centers in DuPage and Will Counties, a post-abortion healing ministry, and online telecare women in crisis can access from anywhere. Our current goal is to see 25 communities plant their own independent Caring Network clinics throughout Illinois.

The need is great. By God’s grace and your help, we can respond in love.

Caring Network’s mission

To honor and glorify Jesus Christ, the author and creator of life, by bringing His love and compassion to abortion-minded women and equipping them to choose life – both physical and spiritual.

Locally focused

Caring Network’s work is focused on Illinois. That’s because the need is great here – but also because Illinois is our home. We have a responsibility to the places where we live and work. We want to love our literal, geographical neighbors.

People, not politics

Caring Network doesn’t support candidates, lobby, demonstrate or take policy stances. Those things matter – but the way we choose to help is one on one, face to face, heart by heart.

Born and unborn

Caring Network believes all people bear God’s image – babies and adults, born and unborn. Our answer to abortion includes compassionate concern for unborn children, pregnant women and those parenting or processing a past decision. Abortion affects us all.

Gospel-centered

Caring Network is intentionally Christ-centered. When God gives an opportunity, we’ll share the good news of Jesus’ love and forgiveness. Since our services are available to all women this provides an opportunity to share the gospel with those who don’t know Jesus.
