JULIA

Julia found out she was pregnant a few months before scheduling a phone consultation with Caring Network. During the discussion, she told her pregnancy consultant that she had an appointment at Planned Parenthood, but needed her ID in order to obtain an abortion, which she had lost. She had gone back and forth in her decision, taking prenatal vitamins, but also searching for abortion clinics. Thankfully, she found Caring Network at just the right time. Julia told her consultant that she’d like to have kids one day, but she was in a tough spot. She wasn’t sure how far along she was, but she and her fiancé were deciding between abortion and placing their child for adoption. Julia then came into our center for an ultrasound where she learned she was well into her 2nd trimester. After seeing her baby, she and her fiancé decided to choose life and form an adoption plan. Julia’s consultant, who is an adoptive mom herself, connected her with information and resources to assist her with the next steps. Later, Julia reached out to her consultant with an update—she shared her plans with her family, who are supportive of her decision and were encouraged she had “taken the right steps.” Caring Network is grateful for God’s intervention in Julia’s life! We continue to pray for a smooth adoption experience and are so thankful for the new life she is carrying!
