Caring Network is a frontline ministry, which means the battles in our counseling rooms every day are real. But it is such a privilege to see God at work! Tanya knew she was pregnant before she came to Caring Network, so she was already planning on abortion. 

She is a struggling Christian, and expressed that God must not approve of abortion, yet she couldn’t see another way. Then during her ultrasound, Tanya’s pregnancy consultant watched as her expression changed. Asked what she was thinking, Tanya responded, “I think I just fell in love.” Our God is awesome! But that’s not all. As they talked further about God’s plan for her life, Tanya shared a strong desire to walk in line with God’s desires for her. They were even able to pray together. Before she left, Tanya expressed how thankful she was that God had brought her to Caring Network. “Thinking I didn’t have support made it easier to consider abortion. I am so glad I came here!” Praise God that in His mercy, He spared this mom from the anguish of abortion. 

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5
